I got the G1M tattoo in January of 2020. I think I was the only one to have it at the Go One More event for the Austin Marathon in February. Since then I’ve adopted that mindset even more going from my first half marathon to having several marathon cancellations. Now I’m working with NVDM and Natasha to prepare for my first Ironman November 7 in Panama City.
I got this tattoo for a couple reasons. First off I’ve gotten over a lot of bad things in my life from scary medical issues, obesity, and suicide to name a few and I believe this is the perfect saying to overcome any obstacle in life and simple reminder that it will never beat you. Second as someone currently serving in the Navy and soon to go into the NSW(SWCC) pipeline it gives me something that I can ground myself to that can never be taken away from me even when the times get really hard.
Go One More means going the extra rep in the gym and in life. This tattoo provided a mindset shift for the rest of my life. I will not only focus on giving the extra effort in every single workout that I do but I will channel that mentality into being a better father, a better husband, and an overall better person, 100% of the time. This tattoo is a constant reminder to be the best version of myself, to never be satisfied, and to ultimately GO ONE MORE EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.

Hey Nick, here are the pictures of the tattoo. I ran my first marathon in September of 2020, and it was a canceled rate so I ended up just running the course on my own and now I’m hungry for more races. I fell in love with running about 2 years ago and your story continues to light a life in me. A couple months before the race, in the thick of training, I got this tattoo as a constant reminder of what it means to be a runner. Thanks for everything, keep doing you.
I’m Russell from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and here is my
“GO ONE MORE” Story.
“Go One More” has always been a mentality for me for the last 5 years than just a saying or quote and it also stems back to my childhood growing up.
It applied to both my professional career as an entrepreneur building his own Private Wealth Consulting firm as well as my personal fitness journey in losing weight as the fat kid all his life that used to weigh 100kg overweight, didn’t do any sport and couldn’t run a few kilometers without getting short of breath.
Regards
Hey BPN team! I have been following Nick Bare on social media for a while now and his work ethic motivates many people. The go one more saying reminds me to push myself each day no matter the circumstances.
Inspired by the one and only. @nickbarefitness Always Keep that “Go one more mentality” Thank you🔥 @madeindadetattoo
Go One More and the movement helped me flip the switch on my life. I got this tattoo because to me it represents the journey I went through to change my body in a year in a half. It reminds me of the point in my life that at was at my lowest. Even now there’s time I was to slow down or stop but I look at this tattoo and it helps me stay laser focused 💯
The reason I got this tattoo is simply to have a constant reminder that I’ll always have ONE MORE in me! One more of anything!🤘
The go one more mentality to me applies to everything someone does in life. There’s always room for improvement and everything that you do. Especially when the urge of giving up is knocking on the door that’s when it’s time to turn it on and go one.
The reason I decided to get the GO ONE MORE tattoo is because it can apply to all aspects of life. When life gets tough we all have that little voice in our head that whispers “just quit” We can make tons of excuses to justify it as well.
I purposely put the G1M tattoo on my right leg because when I’m running, lifting, boxing, etc and I wanted to quit in the past I would look at my right knee. I have dislocated my right knee over a dozen times and had surgery that ended my soccer dreams of one day going pro. Now when I look down not only am
I reminded of what I overcame with the knee surgery but also that I have more in the tank, I can go more than my body or mind wants me to go.
I can GO ONE MORE.
